Default Monitoring who contributes faction

I think it would be great if there was another page (or seperate section) in the guild menu where you could see how much faction has been contributed by each member within a given time period. That way guilds who are competing for places in top alliances (or any guild for that matter) can see who's contributing large amounts of faction, and reward/kick accordingly.

You have to write your name when you donate faction anyway, so I don't think it would be too difficult an update to make, and it would certianly make things easier for leaders who need to make sure that everyone is pulling their weight.

EDIT: It would be enitrely up to every INDIVIDUAL GUILD as to how they use the information, more relaxed, social guilds probably won't use it as a means to kick lazy members, but in more competetive guilds (i.e those competeting for places in top alliances) they will need every tool they can lay their hands on to bring in faction. If you don't like that idea, then those guilds are obviously not for you.

***THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION INTO WHETHER PEOPLE SHOULD BE KICKED FOR NOT CONTRIBUTING FACTION, THIS IS WHETHER THIS SORT OF INFORMATION SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO THE LEADERS AND OFFICERS OF GUILDS***

Be nice just to keep track. But only allow the leader or officer(s) see who.

Screw that, last I checked this was supposed to be voluntary, not boot them if they can't/won't/don't grind for X hours a day.

Faction sucks enough, don't do stupid stuff like this.

its up to the guild though, if they are demanding that you donate a certain amount of faction in a time period and you dont like it, its obviously not the guild for u!

I think it would be nice because i dont mind sharing the wealth when i have a lot of money and wouldnt mind rewarding those that donate because they could have converted that into money for themselves

However I think there are a lot of people who wouldn't agree with this, mostly, because they don't want others to know how much they have been slacking =P

Exactly, _This_ is elitism, not controlling Cavalon... Besides, the alliance I'm in doesn't demand a certain amount faction but encourages it, adding this only fuels hate.

false.

is volontary if your alliance/guild policy say its volontary.

if instead you are in a guild/alliance where ever member have to give xxx faction for the greater good...

you have 2 option now

1) leave the guild/alliance with this stupid policy
2) leech the work of other.

since i think everone know what the leecher should get ...

PS.

i never donated 1 faction ...

Im up for anything that stops people from lying about what they are doing. They might be required to donate 50k faction a week to stay in the guild, if they arent and are lying about it they deserve to be kicked.

It would be extremely useful for guild leaders to check on the effort by members and also just fun for curious people and you could have a fun competition moving up the ranks of biggest contributor

Otherwise how are guilds supposed to monitor who fulfills their role or not.
If a guild sets a minimum amount of faction per member then that should be able to be regulated.

SIGNED SIGNED SIGNED , signing it three times in caps now makes it extra special.

just because I like updates with useful features. If you are in a guild that will take off your head because you never donated, join a casual guild.

When did this game become about grinding? The whole faction system really needs to be completely overhauled.

Your missing the point. This isnt about making a set limit of faction per person, Its suggesting a useful information screen for guilds. What the guild does with it is up to them. Talk to your guild if you dont like it.

also it could be available to only officers/ leaders that might help ease some peoples worries, but id only use it for rewarding because im not fussed over faction and ive told my alliance its up to the individual UNLESS we have serious plans on holding a town, otherwise id prefer my members made money and / or got their 15k armor.

But yea if your in a guild that has a requirement on you to donate and you dont but want the benifits (if any) you should leave or be kicked, the guild obviously isnt right for you and your not for the guild!

Please explain how it is flawed and what changes you would like to take place.

How does not contributing a lot of alliance faction make you lazy???????? Maybe you dont play that much, or you dont like AB and do other stuff. I personally dont play that much AB because my computers lags pretty bad sometimes when i do it.

Some people might not be certain if their guild would kick em or not so they might be pressured into doing things they dont really like.

Does it show how much fame, gold, or balthazars faction every player has in the guild window? NO. So why should it show this?

Grinders go play WoW.

Did you even read all the message or what has been posted???

Yet again, this is a suggestion to introduce something to help guild leaders/officers not a discussion about whether people should be kicked or not for not contributing enough faction. What the guild leader does with the info is up to him and if you are in a guild that wants more faction then either leave or do your bit.
